Casper Kelly showed me a rough script for "Too Many Cooks" back in September of 2013, and said he needed a theme song. He wanted it to sound something like the theme for the 80s sitcom show "The Facts Of Life". After singing that for days, this melody and basic song structure popped into my head one evening while in the shower (as cliché as that my sound.) A couple of weeks later I had an opportunity to track a rough version at the studio, record two vocalists, and send it Casper. He and Paul Painter looped it under some of the footage they were working on, and it stuck. From there it went over to Shawn Coleman who twisted it into all the different versions and genres in the final piece.
